Biospringer Asia Pacific team conducted a successful full day seminar in Malaysia together with our distributor, Markaids. The event was on 18th October 2018, in the beautiful set of Kuala Lumpur Hilton Hotel.
The seminar themed BUILD YOUR TASTE, and was dedicated to our customers. It is an essential opportunity for us to share with them our food industry know-how, and to interact on their needs and vision.
We showcased various food applications, in order to illustrate what we are saying about Yeast Extract – it is a natural* solution that improves taste and enables healthier formulations (salt reduction, sugar reduction, fat reduction), or fitting the vegan and vegetarian products.
Our Asia Pacific Culinary Center Manager Peggy NG, and our Food Technologist Vicky TIO were inspired to prepare local recipes featuring trends of sweet and salty flavours, spiciness and multipurpose sauces:
> a Salted Egg Flavour Chips with Springalys® D201, riding on the popularity of salted egg flavour in Asia Pacific and the versatility of this one in both sweet and savoury applications,
> a Curry Laksa, an authentic Malaysian cuisine, voted by severals travel guides and news as the must eat food in Malaysia ! Springer® 1405 highlighted perfectly its aromatic spices profile.
> a Kecap Manis with Springer® 6008. Kecap Manis is an ethnic South East Asia condiment, essential in Indonesia. It is also a multipurpose sauce that can be used for marinates, dipping sauce and stir frying in authentic South East Asian cooking. We presented it as a dipping sauce for satay in Malaysia !
It was certainly an interactive seminar bustling with engagements with over 50 guests joining us from various parts of Malaysia. We hope that everyone enjoyed the day as much as we do !
