From July 16 to 18, 2018, Biospringer presented its clean label Springer® Baker’s Yeast Extracts and Springaline® Inactive Yeast, and how they build umami and savory taste in plant based foods and snacks. For this use, the visitors were able to taste both products Springer® Baker’s Yeast Extracts and Springaline® Inactive Yeast, in umami popcorn and vegan meat and dairy analogs. And what a success !

It was the perfect opportunity to show that our natural, non-GMO yeast ingredients can add nutrition while building umami and savory taste in plant based foods and snacks.

On this occasion, the famous Food Ingredients First online media considered Biospringer as one of the main “companies to watch” on the IFT 2018 Exhibition: “Biospringer will sample their IFT 2018 menu. The menu includes Umami Popcorn featuring non-GMO Springer® Yeast Extract and Springaline® Inactive Yeast. The menu also addresses the plant-based food trend with featured items including Windy City Vegan Chili and Vegan Chicken/Cheese Quesadillas.
