To stand out in a highly competitive category, the client\u2019s Sukiyaki sauce needed to deliver a richer, more premium taste experience while preserving the authentic spicy and umami character that consumers crave.<\/p>\n<h3>Technical Challenge<\/h3>\n<p>This project was part of a new product development (NPD) initiative for launch in a major convenience store chain. The client\u2019s objectives were to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Enhance overall taste intensity and complexity<\/li>\n<li>Deliver a strong umami profile with a long-lasting finish<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the original Sukiyaki flavor identity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 24px; margin-bottom: 48px; color: #ff8c00; font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.2;\">Achieving these goals required a solution that could boost depth and mouthfeel without overpowering the traditional flavor profile.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 10px; color: #f5a300; font-size: 42px; font-weight: bold;\">Biospringer Solution<\/h3>\n<p>Biospringer\u2019s Culinary Center collaborated closely with the client to identify the most suitable umami solution. Based on the defined objectives, an umami-focused yeast extract was selected and tested directly in the customer\u2019s formulation.
