I joined the Lesaffre group in 2010 as a Process Optimization Engineer in the Maisons-Alfort fermentation workshop. After 1 year, I joined the R&amp;D department where I became a Research Project Manager. Today, I manage the R&amp;D bioprocess team under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rudy-menin-99312372\/\">Rudy\u00a0Menin<\/a>, the head of the department.<\/p>\n<h4>What changes have you seen since you joined the company?<\/h4>\n<p>There has been a real growth and diversification of\u00a0the\u00a0activities\u00a0linked to nutrition and health. This growth has been supported by the structuration of\u00a0Lesaffre Business Units\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0innovation process.\u00a0Today,\u00a0we have day-to-day interactions with people all around the world.\u00a0That\u00a0makes our work very rich, exciting and motivating!<\/p>\n<h4>What are your day-to-day responsibilities?<\/h4>\n<p>My responsibilities are divided into two main parts. First, there is a technical part. I\u00a0participate\u00a0in research projects with different types of objectives, develop new products, provide technical support to factories, and increase our knowledge.\u00a0 The second and main part of my work is dedicated to\u00a0the\u00a0team and activity coordination.<\/p>\n<h4>What is your favorite part of the job?<\/h4>\n<p>I like science. It is always satisfying to discover a good experimental result or build a nice graph\u2026 I also like people. The richness of my job\u00a0comes from\u00a0my\u00a0team. They are all different. They all\u00a0have their strengths\u00a0and weaknesses\u00a0and we have our ups and downs. There is no routine in the management of a team!<\/p>\n<h4>Would you like to add anything else?<\/h4>\n<p>During the last few months, the humane qualities shared by Biospringer collaborators have taken even more meaning. I hope that vaccination will help us eliminate the virus in the near future and hope everyone stays safe.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;
