The benefits of these will include increased<strong> yeast extract production capacity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>A financial investment to match the scale of Biospringer\u2019s ambitions<\/h4>\n<p>This investment plan underpins Biospringer\u2019s intention to expand its operations and develop a more extensive product range. The new equipment (autolysis tanks, washing array, spray-drying tower, silo, etc.), which has been operational since the end of 2017, is supporting this ambition. Also, it is enhancing the service offered to <strong>Biospringer\u2019s customers<\/strong> worldwide. It will boost the production capacities of the Strasbourg sites by almost 50%.<\/p>\n<h4>A fast-expanding market<\/h4>\n<p>We currently have 8 industrial sites worldwide, including 2 in Strasbourg. The objective is to meet our customers\u2019 specific requirements as never before, all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>We have a strong focus <strong>on major food issues<\/strong>. We offer our industrial agri-foodstuff customers a range of 100% <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biospringer.com\/en\/natural-products\/\">natural* solutions<\/a><\/strong> for<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/biospringer.com\/en\/natural-products\/#taste\"> improving the taste<\/a> <\/strong>and other sensory qualities of food. This challenge is consistent with Lesaffre\u2019s ambitions: \u201cBetter nourish and protect the planet\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We have a long shared history with Strasbourg, as we have had a site there for around 25 years. Early in 2017, Lesaffre acquired the Sensient entity, a specialist in brewer\u2019s <strong>yeast extracts<\/strong>, thus enhancing our expertise in this fast-growing market.<\/p>\n<h4>Yeast extracts: natural products for a healthy and sustainable diet<\/h4>\n<p>Yeast is produced from unicellular micro-organisms. They are fed on sugar (cane and beet molasses) and that then multiply during fermentation, which is an <a href=\"\/en\/how-to-make-yeast-extract\/\">intrinsically natural process<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>yeast extracts<\/strong> produced by Biospringer for businesses in the agri-foodstuff industry are 100% <a href=\"https:\/\/biospringer.com\/en\/natural-products\/\">natural* solutions<\/a>.\u00a0The advantages of these include meeting increasing consumer demand for healthy and sustainable food. This means natural food with less salt but with essential flavors preserved. We intend our continued expansion within the sector to keep pace with these new environmental and human issues.
